Alliance for Education Five Year Strategic Plan

Co-developed a comprehensive, five-year strategic plan for the Alliance for Education (AFE), the philanthropic arm of Seattle Public Schools. This work involved stakeholder engagement with staff, board members, Seattle Public Schools leadership, Seattle-based businesses, philanthropy, and community partnerships, resulting in a five-year plan for AFE and its three signature programs, Seattle Teacher Residency, Fiscal Services, and the Right Now Needs Fund.

This work was conducted in collaboration with Gilded Knight Consulting.

Miguel Contreras Foundation Annual Cinco de Mayo Gala

Managed talent outreach, speaker briefing materials, sponsorship graphics, and event marketing for the Miguel Contreras Foundation's annual fundraiser, partnering with the event production firm to coordinate talent, communications, and event logistics.

Mika Jain Consulting has supported this fundraiser in 2024 and 2025.

Social Emotional Learning Research & Curriculum Strategy for Heartwood Schools

Led the development of a comprehensive social-emotional learning strategy for Heartwood Preschool & Elementary School. Reviewed curriculum, facilitated stakeholder engagement with educators and leadership, and directed extensive research on early childhood education, evidence-based SEL curricula, DEIB, accreditation, trauma-informed instruction, dual language learning, and national best practices to inform an organization-wide SEL framework.

Harris-Walz Fundraiser and Zoom Conversation

Organized and project-managed a Harris-Walz Fundraiser for Family & Friends, raising over $111,000. Co-hosted alongside Bela Bajaria, Mallika Chopra, Lisa Ling, and Reshma Saujani.

Los Angeles Education Partnership DEIB Strategy Development

Co-led DEIB Strategy Planning for Los Angeles Education Partnership (LAEP), one of Los Angeles' longest-standing education nonprofits. Work included developing a theory of change, DEIB Strategic Plan, and facilitation of on-site professional development for 90 early childhood educators.

This work was conducted in collaboration with Gilded Knight Consulting.

Blended Impact Labs TAM Fellowship

Launched the inaugural Blended Impact Lab TAM Fellowship, a 6-week program for college and students and Opportunity Youth aged 18-24. This fellowship provides tools, mentorship, and resources to explore career pathways as founders, funders, and developers, culminating in a $5,000 research competition.

The BIG We Foundation Inaugural Donor Convening

Crafted communications and marketing strategy for The BIG We’s inaugural Donor Convening, which brought together a powerful mix of national and local funders in Memphis. The strategy included a comprehensive communications and talking points document, custom invitations, approval workflows, event brochures, name cards, and other branded materials to ensure a cohesive and impactful experience.

Oak Tree Learning Center Grants Strategy

Served as a strategic advisor to Oak Tree Learning Center, a multi-campus early childhood education organization serving families in Los Angeles and San Bernardino. Work focused primarily on developing grant strategies for expanding early childhood funding. Designed a parent resource hub for families across multiple campuses and helped strengthen organizational capacity and community engagement.

Prevent Child Abuse America National Conference Panel

Moderated Prevent Child Abuse America’s (PCAA) National Conference panel on entertainment and children’s wellbeing. Panelists included Paul Blavin, David Goldblum, Harold Green III, Raven Magwood, Siena Oberman, and Tito Olowu.

Computer Basics Program Replication Toolkit

Supported EDC Ventura County in developing and launching a first of its kind Computer Basics Program Replication Toolkit, an open-source resource designed to empower communities through digital literacy.
